"Tanz der Winde (Dance of the Winds)" by Jörg Wiele

Sculptures by Jörg Wiele pay homage to the elements of nature. The artist releases his works into a play with wind and rain, light and shadow. Depending on the interplay of forces, the visual effect changes from the impression of a gently curving line to the volume of a body in the weight and strength of its materiality. Opening and closing, claiming space and contracting again are moving, kinetic events that the viewer experiences and that move him or her. (Excerpt from a speech by Gabriele Uerscheln). The sculpture was erected by the Verkehrsverein Steinhuder Meer e.V. in 2006.
