Dragonfly in the wind - Jörg Wiele
The artist Jörg Wiele from Düsseldorf has created a new sculpture at Lake Steinhuder Meer.
The name of this sculpture was determined in October 2024 by a creative digital visitor survey with around 300 participants. Out of 86 nature-related ideas, the suggestion with the most votes, "Dragonfly in the Wind", received approval and was confirmed by the Board of the Verkehrsverein Steinhuder Meer e. V. The sculpture was erected in 2024 by the Verkehrsverein Steinhuder Meer e. V. with funding from the VR Foundation of Volksbanks.
