Picnic on the Steinhuder Meer circular trail, Bastion 1

The picnic area is located right on the water. If the weather isn’t ideal, you can sit here in a sheltered hut and still take a break or have a picnic while enjoying a magnificent view of the water. Right on the water, there’s also a monument with a view of Wilhelmstein Island. It provides interesting information about the area’s location and the nature park. The information can also be accessed as audio and is partially available in simple language.
