Steinhude Nature Park Barn
Lake Steinhuder Meer is the centerpiece of the 420 sq kilometer nature park and an attractive landscape. Since the Expo in 2000, the information centre with exhibition space has been in Steinhude in the barn quarter "Scheunenviertel". The staff provide information and an interactive exhibition gives an insight into the fascinating flora and fauna around Lake Steinhuder Meer's bird sanctuary.
