Steinhude Beach Island

The Badeinsel is an artificial island covering 35,000 m² with a beautiful sandy beach, a sunbathing area, and a large playground. The shallow shoreline is particularly suitable for children, and the entire Badeinsel is very popular with families. There are public restrooms, and visitors can take a shower. The bistro is located right on the shore, where you can enjoy the sunset with a snack or a drink. Outside of the season, the bathing island can also be used as a surf launch site. Various events also take place during the season.
