The Amtsgarten is located next to the castle and was laid out as a Baroque garden in 1750. The green vault, the hornbeam walkway and the remains of the fortifications (southern bastion, Erichstein and casemates), which bear the hallmarks of Italian and Dutch bastion fortifications, have been preserved.
