Mining museum of the "Weser Shaft" in the region Lake Steinhuder Meer
In the Weser shaft, which was opened in 1910, potash salts were extracted from depths of up to 1400 meters. Today, in the museum, which opened in 1997, you can see relics from the active mining era and learn interesting facts about the everyday life of the miners on guided tours through the exhibition.
